"I just moved to St Petersburg Florida from Denver, Colorado and needed to change my insurance which is always a headache! "He removed the implant and did the bone graft again and I had to wait another 4 months and when I went back he took an xray and he said he had to do another bone graft. After he added another bone graft I had to wait another 4 months. When I went up front and asked a simple question from the staff of why he didn’t put enough bone the first time and was told by one of the nurses that 25% of the time this happens, The next time I went in, I was chewed out by the office manager and she told me that I am ungrateful and he is doing this work for free and I should find another surgeon and I have a cheap dentist and it’s my body that is messed up and not the dentist’s work. On 11/23/2025 I received a package from 5280 oral surgery with all of my records and he stated that the office dropped me as a patient. On 12/16 I had an appointment for an xray of the bone graft and no one called me to say that my appointment was cancelled. When I showed up on time, he made me wait an hour and all the patients were gone and he said I am not his patient anymore and he will not do anything for me and when I asked for my back he said no and my dentist did not use the correct material and that’s why the bone was failing which make no sense and it’s not true after talking to multiple surgeons. I did find a much better surgeon who guarantees his work. If your dentist refers you to this office, don’t go and save yourself from a headache and dealing with unprofessional staff.
Overall, I left 5280 oral surgery feeling like just another number rather than a patient whose teeth mattered. Stay away from this office and they don’t have a professional office staff."

"Karen Hagenson is a terrific State Farm Representative. She helped get my son and his new wife auto insurance right in the middle of the two hurricanes in 2024 when they first moved to St Petersburg. Even in the middle of the catastrophic circumstances in that area, she kept calm and remained very professional. She also kept in touch with us and was able to get them insured. Excellent service was thoroughly provided. I’d highly, highly recommend her and State Farm who my husband and I have had for 40 years!!!

"I had an excellent experience working with Matthew at State Farm. He helped me switch over from USAA and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Matthew took care of setting up my auto insurance, renter’s insurance, and a new supplemental hospital policy, and he explained everything clearly and in full detail so I always knew exactly what I was getting and why.

"Tried working with this branch including Steve himself.

They screwed up both my auto and home policies several times. They didn’t process my home policy paperwork which ended up costing me about $800 more per year. Steve said “we’ll make it right” in which he did nothing. Tried canceling my policy and they can’t even find it.

They also didn’t process the paperwork correctly for my auto which cost me $322 which I admittedly should have monitored my bill closer. I had called several times in which I was told everything should be fixed.

Nevertheless I wouldn’t recommend this branch at all. They ended up costing me money annoyance and time in the long run. I don’t know how they are highly rated on google.

My response to your reply:

Homeowners: You’re wrong. Your team never sent the documentation to my lender. Once I lost coverage I had to get involved multiple times between you two. Your team dropped the ball

Auto: I did ask about these forms. I did reach out several times. I was told it was taken care of. But you’re right I recently canceled after getting fed up with trying to follow up on your team’s job."

"Hi Nick, I am truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet the 5-star level of service we striver to provide every customer. We take feedback like this very seriously and appreciate you bringing your concerns to my attention.

Regarding your Homeowner's policy, our office completed all binding and submission of all documentation promptly and correctly. Unfortunately, your Mortgagee did not remit payment of the initial invoice in the 90 day window, that is out of our control. That forced the policy to have to be rewritten and reissued a second time. In doing so, that then meant it had to go with a different company and $300 higher premium. We have notes in the system showing we did in fact reach out to yourself to inform you that they had not paid the premium to see if you can get in contact with them when we received notice of the nonpayment. Unfortunately the Mortgagee paying or not paying a bill is out of our direct control. I did my best to remedy the situation when it went unpaid.

With respect to the Auto policy, there were forms that you had not signed that we reached out about on multiple occasions and had to resend multiple times as they had expired. When you called in most recently, my team member spoke with you and explained why the bill was higher, the State of Florida automatically increases coverage if said forms are not signed. He then made the change to reduce that coverage down and send those forms back out which would adjust your premium once again. You then chose to cancel your policies. I understand your frustration and regret that the outcome did not align with your expectations.

Our intention is always to advocate for our customers, ensure accuracy and resolve issues as quickly as possible. We sincerely apologize that this situation caused you inconvenience and additional stress, and that your overall experience fell short of what we pride ourselves on delivering.
